Adult Education

We have several active participant-led adult education groups at Hilltop. In addition to learning about faith and the Bible, it’s also a chance to be part of a close-knit group of wonderful people. You don’t have to be a member of the church to participate in and contribute to these programs. In fact, it’s a good place to start if you’d like to make some good new friends or if you’re feeling drawn back to life as part of a church. There’s something for everyone!

Women’s Bible Discussion Group

The Hilltop Women’s Bible Discussion Group meets weekly on Thursday mornings, except during the summer. The group meets at Hilltop House at 9:45 for socializing and begins the study at 10:00. Participants take turns leading the class. Topics include Bible study as well as resources about spirituality and Christian living.

Men’s Bible Discussion Group

The Men’s Bible Discussion Group meets on Saturday mornings at 8:30, except during the summer. The group has friendly discussions before settling down to the topic of the week. Studies often use a book or other resource as a study guide, leading the group to insights about the Bible and what it says about living as Christians in our time.

Sunday Education and Fellowship

The Sunday Adult Education & Fellowship group will meets after church during the school year. ing next Sunday, Sept 17. The group works hard to push their own boundaries on topics like grace, spiritual living, social justice, and Bible study. The group meets at Hilltop House – except the last Sunday of each month when, instead of a formal meeting, they gather at the Blackhorse Pub for fellowship and brunch.
